Neb's passion for motor sport has been apparent from a very young age being a huge Formula One fan. He began racing Karts at the relatively late age of 18 years old, but this did not hamper the young Serbian, as he achieved a great success in karting over a relatively small period of time. Neb was racing with Protrain in the UK, which is one of the best teams in Europe and in the UK. During 2003/2004, he was the novice of the year with 5 top 10 finishes and 1 fastest lap.

The natural progression for the talented Serbian was to move into single seater racing, and he did so the following year competing in the BRDC Single seater Scholarship. With over 50 future F1 stars competing, only 20 were eligible to qualify to the finale. Neb was one of the first ones to get comfortably into the finale after showing great talent and a number of fastest laps during the championship. Following on from his success in the BRDC single seater championship, Neb entered a five day course at Silverstone to gain more track time and experience. He finished at the top of his course, and this was only the beginning of his success.

This raw talent now wanted to move up the motor racing ladder so entered The Star of Silverstone Championship and also competed in a formula ford BRDC race. The youngster's results speak for themselves: 6 races, 4 wins, 4 fastest laps, 4 pole positions and 1 second place. Neb was crowned as the Champion of the Star of Silverstone Championship.

2006 saw Neb progress again into the Formula Renault winter series. Neb showed a great potential after his impressive first test in a Formula Renault car. Having impressed the team so much with his speed and talent, Hillspeed took the chance to sign Neb for the Formula Renault UK winter series and use it as an opportunity for Neb to gain more race experience in preparation for 2007 season.

Unfortunately Neb never got a chance to shine in 2007 due to lack of funds.

After taking a couple of years out to concentrate on his work within Formula One, 2011 saw a new direction to be taken by the young talented racing driver, in the form of the British Renault Clio Cup Championship. Entering in a one off round at Snetterton, being run by three times Clio Cup Champions, Team Pyro, and having invaluable driver coaching from 2009 Clio Cup Champion Phil Glew, Neb impressed the paddock on his debut. Ending the weekend with a 7th and 8th, the team and the rest of the Clio Cup paddock were extremely impressed at how fast Neb was across the weekend, and how quickly he adapted to the tricky task of learning front wheel drive.

Testimonials

“While driving for Hillspeed Neb showed exceptional enthusiasm and a willingness to learn the skills required to drive a single seater race car. He demonstrated an ability to learn and develop his driving while maintaining a relaxed and approachable attitude outside of the car. I would welcome any opportunity to work again with Neb in the future”.
Richard Ollerenshaw, Hillspeed, Multiple Champions.

Neb was like a breath of fresh air joining our team as I really enjoy working with drivers who want to learn and improve to be the best, as Neb proved at Snetterton. He has a huge amount of potential and I would love to have him join our team for the 2012 Championship”.
“If only Neb could carry on with the momentum he has built up in one race, I believe he would give the regulars a run for their money!”
Mark Hunt, Team Owner, Team Pyro (Champions in 2008, 2009 and 2010).

I’ve been so impressed with Neb over this weekend of racing at Snetterton. To come into one of the most competitive one-make championships in Europe midway through the season, having never driven in a front wheel drive racing car, and to put in lap times, and good consistent results like he did just shows his raw talent. This guy wants to win badly, I just hope someone can spot his determination and talent and take him to the top of motorsport. I would love to be Neb’s teammate”.
Phil Glew, BTCC, British GT driver and Clio Cup Champion 2009.
